Randfonteiners support Boks through thick and thin

Local rugby fanatics came out to support the Springboks in the Rugby World Cup last weekend.

Randfonteiners got together in large numbers at Buffalo Ranch in Pelzvale to support the Springboks.

Although the national team did not get their Rugby World Cup campaign off to a winning start, going down 23–13 to the All Blacks on Saturday, 21 September, the message is clear that Randfontein will support the Springboks through thick and thin.

Johan van Wyk, owner and manager of the Buffalo Ranch said many families from various parts of Randfontein came together to be with the Springboks in spirit.

“This was also an opportunity for people to simply enjoy the day as families. We provided the venue for people to enjoy the match as the community. We also had a mixture of the young and old coming together wearing their Springbok shirts,” Johan said.
