Four out of four plus 83–0 win for Teine against Diggers

Randfontein Rugby Club proved too good for Diggers in the Senior Grand Challenge league matches by winning all four their encounters.

Randfontein Rugby Club (Teine) made a clean sweep against Diggers Rugby Club from Randburg by winning all four their Senior Grand Challenge league matches.

Manager of the club, Lulu Kleyn said management was proud of the boys. Despite the weather conditions Teine proved unstoppable at Hoërskool Riebeeckrand on Saturday May 21.

The home side’s biggest victory came when the first team hammered the visitors 83–0.

We’re proud of all the players because we’ve won all the matches, and we say congratulations. You’ve really outdone yourself. We had a good day of rugby and many families came out to have fun with us.

“We also thank management of Hoërskool Riebeeckrand for hosting us. They also faced their rivals, Hoërskool Jan Viljoen. Thank you for making it one big happy family, especially by bringing the community together again,” Lulu said.
