Another Tiger roars

Greenhills Super Tigers FC youngster (16) dreams of wearing an Orlando Pirates jersey one day.

Morafe Mothibedi (16) dreams of one day donning his favourite team’s colour.

The centre-back currently plays for the Greenhills Super Tigers FC, however, playing for the Orlando Pirates FC one day will be a dream come true.

When he was a child he used to play football with his older brother every day. One day, his brother decided to stop playing but Morafe still continued with his commitment.

Morafe’s role model is Pau Cubasi, who currently plays for the Barcelona Football Club at the age of 18.

“My biggest motivation is my mother because every day she inspires me to make her proud.

I would love to make her proud and play for the Orlando Pirates,” he expressed.

His favourite thing about being a centre-back is protecting the ball and defending with passion.

His best achievement was scoring four goals and one assist during one of his football matches.

“Remember to always work hard and do what you enjoy. Be proud of yourself and use the talents that God has given you,” he concluded.
