Designs that speak
From custom paintings to bold graphic designs, Kgosi ART is exploring brand collaborations to bring his art to a wider audience.
A rising creative from Mohlakeng is turning passion into purpose as he works to establish himself in the local art and design scene.
Thabo Ntsoelengoe, better known as Kgosi ART, is a painter and graphic designer with ambitions to expand his business and reach new audiences.
Blending traditional painting with modern graphic design, Thabo has developed a unique style that appeals to a wide range of clients. His work includes detailed portraits, expressive canvas pieces, and custom-designed clothing such as jackets and t-shirts for branding or personal use.

Driven to grow his brand, Thabo is actively seeking collaborations with clothing companies. He believes fashion provides an exciting platform to showcase art in a wearable form, allowing his designs to reach beyond galleries and into everyday life.
“I want my work to be seen everywhere, not just on walls, but on people. Collaborating with clothing brands is one way I can expand my creativity and grow my business,” he explained.

Since speaking with the Randfontein Herald, Thabo has landed a new job as a graphic designer.
“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life, where I’ll focus more on design work and push myself to the next level,” he said. The artist is also preparing for his first art collection, a milestone he has always dreamed of achieving.

In addition to fashion, Thabo seeks partnerships with musicians and other creatives, offering custom paintings and graphic design services, including album covers and promotional artwork. He is equally passionate about working with individuals, creating personalised pieces that capture meaningful moments and stories.

Despite the competitive nature of the creative industry, Thabo remains focused and determined. He views collaboration not only as a path for business growth but also as a way to uplift and connect with other creatives.

As Thabo continues to build his portfolio and grow his brand, he represents the talent emerging from Mohlakeng. Armed with a paintbrush and creativity, he is ready to make an impact locally and beyond.
