Two suspected house robbers arrested, stolen goods recovered in Menlo Park
Three laptops, two cellphones, old valuable coins and numerous gate remotes were among the recovered goods.

A private security company apprehended two suspects in connection with a house robbery on Mackenzie Road in Menlo Park on Friday.
CSI Security CEO Dana Bloem said they responded to a WhatsApp voice note from a client who asked for an armed response.
“The client asked for our help after spotting four strangers on her premises.
“Our armed tactical team responded to the calls and a search was held in the area.”
Bloem said three other armed tactical teams joined the search for the suspects and two of the four were eventually caught.

“Two suspects were spotted and apprehended by the CSI team while the other two got away.”
Bloem said the suspects had hidden three backpacks inside a rubbish bin.
“We found three backpacks stuffed in the bin close to where the two suspects were caught.
“After opening the bags, we found three stolen laptops, two cellphones, a Blu-Ray player, an extension cord, a variety of clothes and valuable old coins.
“After searching the suspects, several gate remotes were found,” he said.
Bloem praised everyone involved in the arrest. “Teamwork makes the dream work”.

He also urged residents to report any suspicious activity on their community groups or directly to the CSI control room at 079 962 1364.
Brooklyn police spokesperson Sergeant David Baloyi confirmed the arrests.
“Two of the four suspects were arrested and charged with house break-in and being in possession of stolen property.
“We are certain that we will make more arrests,” Baloyi said.
