The Garsfontein police have arrested three suspects after they allegedly broke into a house in Woodhill Estate on Wednesday morning, police said.
According to spokesperson Warrant Officer Dave Miller, the suspects were chased by security after they allegedly stole jewellery from the house in Woodhill Estate. “The security managed to catch them and they contacted the police. The suspects, residents of the informal settlement Plastic View, are facing charges of house break-in as well as possession of house break-in equipment. “We are also investigating a case of possession of suspected stolen property and we are looking into the possibility that they are linked to other cases in the area,” Miller said.
