A successful arrest lead to three suspects to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate court soon.
According to Captain Pinky Tsinyane, the suspects were arrested on Friday morning for possession of stolen vehicle.
The police received a lookout tip-off for a Toyota Avenger that was stolen in Limpopo on 12 May. The vehicle was spotted on the R21. A chase between the suspects and the police started and they were apprehended near the Nellmapius offramp in Irene.
The Northrand Police as well as K9 unit were also involved in the arrest.
The suspects are aged 33, 44 and 46. They are suspected to be from Thembisa.
