Drug dealers caught in the Moot
Ten drug dealers arrested for being in the possession of heroin with a street value of R12 000.

Ten of the most notorious drug distributors in Tshwane have been arrested recently.
Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba, spokesperson for the Tshwane metro police, said another two drug dealers were caught on Monday at the Stormvoël toll plaza.
The police suspects that some of the drug dealers who have been arrested are part of a distribution chain that provides drugs to the rest of Pretoria.
“We have been following up information regarding a possible drop-off at a fast-food outlet in Stormvoël Road,” he said.
As the drug dealers were making the exchange on Monday they saw the police and fled the scene in silver Hyundai Getz.
They drove straight through the boom gates of the Stormvoël toll plaza but did not make it far before the police caught them.
Mahamba said they found heroine and eight suspected stolen cell phones in their possession.
He said the first two arrests they made at the beginning of June led them to the arrests of several others. The police suspects all the drug dealers move in the same circles.
“We are still busy investigation other possible leads and at this time we cannot disclose much more than that,” Mahamba said.
He said mostly heroine was found on the two suspects. It has a street value of R12 000.
Mahamba said that eight of the ten drug dealers were still in custody and two of them were released on bail.
In another high-profile arrest, the Hawks, in conjunction with the American Homeland Security Investigations unit, recently arrested a total of 24 people in South Africa, Canada, California, Georgia, Wisconsin, Indiana, New York and South Carolina in connection with a global fraud scam.
The ten arrested in South Africa, among them a 23-year-old Waverley mother of a two-month-old baby, are expected to appear in court for their bail application on 12, 24 and 25 June.
