Lyttelton Primary robbed at gunpoint
Police are searching for two suspects after the Lyttelton Primary School was robbed at gunpoint.

Police are searching for two armed suspects after they robbed the Lyttelton Primary School of R40 000 at gunpoint, police said.
According to police, the suspects entered the school during school hours on 13 June, pretending to be parents.
“They went to reception and said they wanted to enquire about the balance of their children’s school fees. They were then taken to the finance office. They allegedly held the finance officer at gunpoint and took the money,” said Lyttelton Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Hero Gumbu.
The suspects fled the scene with their haul.
“We have opened a case of armed robbery after the incident was reported this week. Anyone with information regarding the incident should report it to the Lyttelton police on 012-644-8600,” said Gumbu.
