Power outage in Eersterust

The Tshwane Metro on Wednesday said it is expected that electricity in Eersterust will be fully restored within the next 24hours.

The residents of Eersterust, East of Pretoria are without power due to three faulty feeder cables, the Tshwane Metro said on Wednesday.

“The City is fully aware of the situation and a dedicated team of technicians are working on restoring power supply to the area.”

According to the Tshwane Metro it is expected that electricity will be fully restored within the next 24hours.

Affected customers are urged to report power failures by sms. Sms the word power followed by your account number to 082 612 0333 or 44676 . Or report a power failure to 012 358 9999, choosing the electricity option or 080 1111 556.

Consumers are advised to treat all electrical points as live. Switch off all non-essential appliances to assist with the load on the electrical network.
