The municipality assured that electricity would be restored to large parts of Centurion on Sunday evening that was left without electricity due to a veld fire.
The Tshwane metro said on Sunday various suburbs in Centurion were without power due to a veld fire under the Rietvlei primary line. “Technicians and emergency services are on site,” the municipality said.
According to the municipality the power will be restored within two hours.
People have since taken to social media to express their frustration.
People from areas including The Reeds, Zwartkop and Highveld said they were without electricity since Sunday afternoon.
