A man (22) and his friend (19) who want to remain anonymous were robbed on Tuesday afternoon at around 17:00 in Theresapark. The man and his friend were walking in Nyala Street when the two robbers approached them.
“The one man was big and the other skinny, the big one blocked my friend and the skinny one lifted up his shirt so I could see he had a gun. He pulled out the gun and pointed it at me, at which time I decided to side-step him and run away,” said the man.
The man managed to get away from the robber who was pointing the gun at him but his friend was not so lucky. The robbers shunted his friend around and stole his wallet and cellphone. According to the man a white Corsa Lite pulled up, the robbers got into the car and drove off at a high speed.
The man says this was not the only incident that has occurred by the robbers with the white Corsa Lite. Apparently two boys in his street were also robbed by the same men with the same car.
