Police in Soshanguve are looking for four men who robbed a courier truck on Tuesday. According to Soshanguve police station spokesperson, Warrant Officer Lolo Mangena, two courier men were delivering cell phones in Block GG at about noon when they were approached by four men in a grey Volvo. “The men got out of the car and pointed firearms at the courier crew while the driver of the Volvo remained seated in the car.”
Mangena said the men took the courier vehicle to a remote area and stole eight boxes of cell phones as well as the cell phones of the courier crew. “After robbing them, they locked them in the truck and sped off. The courier crew was heard banging on the truck’s door, and a passer-by heard their screaming and opened the door for them,” he explained.
Anyone with information that may assist police in finding the suspects is urged to contact the Soshanguve police station.
