Hijacked vehicle found in Winterveld
A man was hijacked by three suspects in the parking lot of a Soshanguve bar.
A vehicle hijacked over the weekend at the Gentle Breeze bar in Soshanguve was found abandoned in Winterveld, Rietgat police said on Friday.
“The owner of the car was in the parking lot when the incident occurred. He was approached by three men who demanded the keys to his car,” said police spokesperson Warrant Officer Lolo Mangena. He said the men then fled in the vehicle, which was found abandoned in Winterveld on Thursday.
He advised motorists who frequented bars, taverns and night clubs not to stand alone outside, especially in parking lots.
