Chaos after post office bombing
A post office in Atteridgeville had to be evacuated after eight men armed with petrol bombs bombed it on Tuesday.
The Atteridgeville post office staff were evacuated on Tuesday afternoon after eight men posing as customers entered the building and set off a petrol bomb.
They hurled the bomb at the counter before fleeing the scene. There were no injuries and nothing was reported as stolen.
Captain Thomas Mufamadi, police spokesperson, said a small fire caused by the petrol bomb was put out quickly.
The post office was closed for the day and police were investigating.
