A 30-year-old Winterveldt man has been jailed for 12 years for car theft.
Captain Coba Brits, spokesperson for the Villieria police, said the man was convicted on two counts of vehicle theft during the week.
She said the arresting officer, Constable Mokwena Mojapelo, showed extreme dedication in the investigation. “His positive attitude and neatness in his work sets a good example for all his colleagues,” she said.
