The grade 4 Adventure Club of Crawford Preparatory Pretoria recently had the opportunity to reach out to Bramley Children’s Home in Groenkloof.
These pupils, together with their parents and teacher Olaide Agbeniga, collected clothes and toys to lend a helping hand in the festive season.
“What a positive experience it was for the children, parents and staff on both sides,” says Agbeniga, a teacher assistant at Crawford Prep Pretoria.
After Crawford’s arrival, the children were introduced and given information and background about Bramley Children’s Home.
Soon the soccer balls started rolling and jumping on a trampoline as well as playing board games, bonded Crawford and Bramley children as friends.
“It was a wonderful fun-filled day and we will definitely visit Bramley in future again,” Agbeniga said.
