Ball and chain for Juju

Julius Malema ties the knot.

It would appear that Economic Freedom Fighters’ leader, Julius Malema, tied the knot with Mantwa Matlala in a private traditional wedding on Saturday.

Some 1000 guest are believed to be attending the lavish wedding which is to continue on Sunday in Polokwane.

Although security was said to be tight and no official statement had been made by the controversial politician or his political party, various photographs of the couple in their wedding garb still did the rounds on social media.

Responses on social media to the bride’s colourful dress ranged from” absolute awe” to “shock.”

Until recently, Malema still denied that he had gotten engaged to the attractive Matlala, who purportedly completed her studies as Medunsa last year.

Malema recently made headlines for various reasons, mainly the unruly actions of his party in Parliament. In Pretoria his name was all over local media following an alleged illegal land invasion near Mamelodi by EFF supporters, who had dubbed the informal settlement “Malemaville“. The Tshwane Metro have since sent in The Red Ants to remove informal structures, much to the occupants’ dismay.
