No arrest made yet

No arrest has been made yet even though the police offered a R100 000 reward for the arrest and conviction of a suspected serial killer.

No one has been arrested since police offered a reward of R100 000 for the arrest and conviction of the suspected serial killer who murdered three women in Mamelodi East around September last year.

Gauteng police spokesperson, Colonel Noxolo Kweza said: “The police are still continuing with the investigations and no one has been arrested yet.”

The R100 000 reward was announced by National police commissioner Riah Phiyega last year during her visit to the families of the victims.

The three women were found killed and dumped in different areas in Mamelodi East. The first body found was that of Katlego Ndlovu (23) in Mamelodi East Phase 1. The second one was Letta Letsoalo (23) from Mamelodi West and her body was found behind a Shell Garage in Mamelodi East.

The third body was badly burnt inside a dumpster in Extension 6, Mamelodi East.

Colonel Kweza said the police are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111 at all hours.
