Murder accused Nico Henning is expected to be served an indictment on Thursday at his reappearance in the Pretoria District Court.
In November, prosecutor Gerrie Nel requested the matter to be postponed as the State was not ready to serve Henning’s defense team with the indictment.
According to reports, the case will then be transferred to the Pretoria High Court in July for the trial.
Henning is facing murder charges after he allegedly orchestrated the murder of his wife Chanelle Henning in November 2011.
Chanelle was gunned down after dropping off her child at a crèche in Faerie Glen.
Andre Gouws, a friend of the accused, and former Nigerian athlete, Ambrose Monye, have both been jailed for life for the murder.
Two other men, Gerhardus “Doepie” du Plessis and Willem “Pike” Pieterse, are serving 18-year prison terms after confessing to their roles in the killing.
