Your sport highlights for the weekend.

Sports fans have one of two choices this weekend. Organise an all-night session after the rugby on Saturday to be ready for the cricket (Proteas against India at the World Cup) on Sunday morning at 5:30 OR do an early afternoon braai, in order to go to bed just after the rugby and be rested for the cricket.

* Fortunately, the Bulls play against the Hurricanes on Friday (19:10) already, which brings a little balance to the weekend’s action.

* On Saturday, the Stormers will take the field at 17:00 against the Blues in Cape Town, while the only South African derby of the weekend, the Sharks against the Lions in Durban, will kick off at 19:10.

* Club Rugby enthusiasts are welcome to support Pretoria Police on Saturday when they play their first Community Cup match against Noordelikes from Limpopo. They game starts at 16:00 at Police rugby club in Totiusstreet, Groenkloof.

* For cricket purists, there are also the action in the Sunfoil four-day series. The Titans are playing against the Warriors in Port Elizabeth. Follow Rekord Sport on Twitter (@RekordSport) for regular information.

* The popular Bestmed Tuks half-marathon will again be presented this Saturday morning from the ABSA Tuks stadium. The race includes an option of a 10km race and a 5km fun run for the not-so-fit participants. The action starts at 06:00.

* The first rounds of the 2015 National Off-road Motorcycle and Quad Championship and the new Junior National Championship kicks off this weekend on 21 February in the Rysmierbult area outside Ventersdorp in the North West Province.
