CANSA hosts shavathon

Public supports CANSA's 12th shavathon by either shaving or spray-painting hair.

Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March Cancer South Africa (CANSA) hosted its 12th Shavathon at the Kolonnade shopping centre and Centurion Mall.

Many people joined CANSA teams to either spray-paint their hair or shave it off.

The shavathon is hosted to show solidarity with cancer survivors and ensure them that they are not alone.

Some people showed their support by purchasing a CANSA wrap or making a hair donation which will be used to produce wigs for cancer survivors.
