Garsfontein police are still searching for a murder suspect who has been evading them for eight years.
Spokesperson Warrant Officer Dave Miller said on Wednesday the man, Motlomelo Mosboeshoe, might be in Tembisa.
Mosboeshoe, who originally hailed from Lesotho, was staying in Plastic View in Moreletapark when he and a friend apparently had an argument over a girl. The girl appeared to have landed in cross-fire between the two men and she was shot dead.
Mosboeshoe has been on the run since then.
