Six men are on the run after they assaulted one man and two women at their home on a Mooiplaas smallholding in Erasmia, south of Pretoria on Friday night.
Following the assault, two of robbers raped the two women.
According to police spokesperson Captain Louise Steynberg the armed robbery took place just after 23:40.
“Six men forced open a door of the house, assaulted three occupants and raped two of the women,” she said.
Steynberg said three of the robbers were armed with firearms but no shots were fired.
The injured residents were taken to hospital for medical attention.
No arrests have been made.
