A woman was mugged of her wallet and cellphone while in her car in Soshanguve, police said.
Spokesperson Warrant Officer Lolo Mangena said she was stabbed in the hand while inside her vehicle, and the thief took her wallet and cellphone.
“The woman was driving her car with her windows open. When she stopped at a stop sign, a man appeared with a knife and stabbed her. He fled with her Galaxy smartphone and wallet, which were lying on her dashboard. The woman drove to the hospital after the stabbing,” he said.
Mangena said a robbery docket was opened at the Soshanguve police station and the matter was under investigation.
