12-year-old allegedly raped by 13-year-old neighbour
A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her 13-year-old neighbour in Block T, Soshanguve.
A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour on Saturday in Soshanguve, police said on Tuesday.
Spokesperson Warrant Officer Lolo Mangena said a 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped on Saturday at her home by a 13-year-old neighbour in Block T, Soshanguve. “The complainant, who is the victim’s mother, said she found her daughter and the neighbour in the backyard. The complainant asked what the two were doing and the neighbour told the complainant that he raped her daughter but that he didn’t penetrate,” he said.
Mangena said the complainant then discovered her daughter was in pain and she immediately reported the matter to the police. A rape case has been opened and police are still investigating the matter.
