Celia Da Costa (49) was travelling north on the M1 highway from the Lusito Land Festival toward Sandton with a staff member when they were cornered by a Mercedes and a VW Golf. She and her staff member were both shot after which the suspects left the scene with an undisclosed amount of goods.
Da Costa was part owner of the Rodizio Brazillian Restaurant franchise, who has branches at both the Leaping Frog Shopping Centre on William Nicol Drive and one in Bedfordview.
