Mom accused of killing children gets bail
A mother who allegedly shot and killed her two children in April has been granted bail and is set to appear in court soon.
A woman accused of killing her two children in Walmansthal near Hammanskraal last month has been granted bail by the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court.
The 32-year-old Katlego Majane made her second appearance on 29 April and was freed on bail of R10 000.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Sarah Lesabane said Majane would be back in court on 22 June.
Majane, a Silverton resident, allegedly shot dead her two-year-old and six-year-old children on 17 April.
Lesabane said Majane had not yet explained what happened on the night her children were killed.
