No additional information has come forward regarding the abused dogs in Johannesburg on Wednesday morning.
Nico Pieterse, a motorist and member of eBlockwatch saw and followed the bakkie well into the Johannesburg CBD area, but lost them due to traffic.
According to Candice Scorer, General Manager as Sandton SPCA: “We are aware of the incident, and all of our resources are currently pulled to this case.”
“Unfortunately the suspects are now aware that they have been reported and have fled. We have a lot of leads, and are doing everything we can to find these guys.”
The bakkie was last seen in the Johannesburg CBD area.
