Trial of cop killers to be postponed
The trial of the four people who allegedly murdered a police major will only be heard next month.
The trial of four people accused of killing police major Abram Tselana is likely to only start on 8 June.
Bheki Mhlongo, Zukiza Mablayi, Nkosinathi Ndlovu and Mandisa Mayezana will appear in the North Gauteng High Court on Wednesday 13 May when Mayezana is expected to apply for bail.
The four are accused of murdering the 45-year-old Tselana after the policeman disappeared in December 2012.
The major disappeared after withdrawing money at a bank in central Pretoria on December 31. His body was found four days later in a piece of open land near Paul Kruger Street. He had an open wound on his head.
At the time of the alleged murder, police said Tselana had withdrawn more than R20 000 before being approached by a women and two men. He was later seen in a vehicle with them.
