ID of decomposed man in suitcase released
The identikit of a decomposed body found in suitcase in 2014 has been released by the Erasmia police..
An identikit from the reconstructed face of a crime victim was released by Erasmia police on Monday.
His decomposed remains were found in a suitcase near the R511 in Hennops Erasmia on 1 October last year, said spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto.
“The remains were taken from the scene by forensic expects for analysis and the face of the middle-aged victim was reconstructed and the identikit was released,” he said.
“It appears to be an Asian man or South African Indian age between 37-50 years old.”
Moloto appealed to anyone who might know or recognises the man to call investigating officer Peter Nkuna on 082-410-7466.
