Lolly Jackson’s murder accused dies
The man accused of killing Teazers strip club boss, Lolly Jackson, died on Monday.
Teazers strip club owner Lolly Jackson’s alleged killer George Louca died on Monday night after a battle with cancer, the department of correctional services said.
The Cypriot national was accused of murdering Jackson in 2010.
The department’s spokesperson Manelisi Wolela said Louca died just after 20:00 at the Kgosi Mampuru II prison’s hospital wing.
“In terms of the policy, inmate Louca’s remains will be transported to his country of origin.”
He said the National Prosecuting Authority would consider the case and decide on the way forward.
“Their decision will be communicated at an appropriate time.”
Louca was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in March, when he was given three months to live.
The High Court in Pretoria declined an application last month for his release.
