Midrand teen disappears in Pretoria
A Midrand teenage girl was last seen in Pretoria on Saturday when she was boarding a taxi home.
Police are searching for 19-year-old Ipeleng Moholane, a Midrand resident who was last seen in Pretoria on Saturday.
Pretoria central police spokesperson Sergeant Ann Poortman said the teenager was last seen by a friend when she was about to board a taxi in the CBD.
“She was apparently boarding a taxi to Midrand at the taxi rank on Sisulu Street on Saturday around 19:00,” she said.
Moholane is currently studying at the Midrand Graduate Institute in Randburg.
Poortman said she was last seen wearing a red cap, white jersey, red scarf, black stockings and black boots.
According to reports, her father appealed to the public for help in finding his daughter when he called in at a radio station on Thursday morning.
“Anyone with information on her whereabouts should please contact the Pretoria central police station for Warrant Officer Mahlangu on 060 782 4247 or 012 393 1000.”
