NATIONAL NEWS: Salary stolen in three minutes at ATM
A new ATM scam had left a woman penniless after she was robbed of her salary in minutes.
A Krugersdorp resident was in despair after strangers nabbed her bank card at an ATM.
The Krugersdorp West resident who wishes to remain anonymous warned residents about two ‘friendly’ strangers who stole her month’s salary three minutes after ‘assisting’ her at the Standard Bank ATM in Rustenburg Street.
She was waiting in a short queue at the ATM and when it was her turn to use the machine she discovered it was not working as it did not want to take the card.
The lady was then assisted by two strangers.
