Pedestrian knocked over in Wonderboom

A pedestrian was hit by a motor vehicle while he was crossing the road in Wonderboom.

A man was injured when he was knocked over by a car in Lavender road in Wonderboom, Pretoria, on Thursday.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann said the 25-year-old pedestrian suffered serious injuries. He was hit while crossing the road.

Paramedics treated him on the scene before he was taken to a hospital.

The police were investigating.
