Home burglaries are increasing in South Africa. Consider these tips on how to stay calm during a home invasion.

Home burglaries in South Africa are currently increasing due to unemployment in a weak performing economy.

Kotze advises the important thing for families to remember is to stay calm in order to survive a home invasion.

Kotze cautions that no two incidents are the same and these tips are based on very basic situations.

“No one would ever want to be present during a home invasion. To increase safety at your home even before a home invasion takes place, consider a home alarm system, CCTV cameras, electric fencing and security guards,” Kotze advises.
