A man was shot and wounded in Soshanguve while he was walking home with friends on Tuesday evening.
Police spokesperson Lolo Mangena said a man was shot in the waist by an unknown male while walking home.
“Three men were walking home at about 22:30 when a white Toyota Tazz approached with fully switched on brights. A man in the car fired several shots at the group. One was wounded. The group of three ran away and got to their home where they called an ambulance. The wounded man was taken to a hospital and is recovering,” Mangena said.
Mangena said the victims know the suspect and will lead them to his arrest soon. “The motive of the shooting is unknown but a case of attempted murder is being investigated.”
