Three at large after Danville robbery
Three armed men are at large after they robbed a business in Danville on Tuesday.
Police have launched a hunt for three armed men after they tied up a business owner during a robbery in Danville on Tuesday afternoon.
Spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe said the men entered the premises on Jan van Jaarsveld Road around 13:30 in a cream white Mini Cooper.
They held the business owner and his employee at gunpoint while tying them with cable ties, she said.
“They took vehicle keys, two laptops and three cellphones. They loaded these items in one of the business owner’s cars and drove away.”
The men fled in a white Ford Ranger double-cab, a silver Mazda 2 as well as their getaway Mini Cooper.
“Police are continuing with the investigation. We appeal to the public with information to report to their nearest police station.”
