UPDATE: Pastor arrested
Pastor who fed his congregation live snakes has been arrested.

Penuel Mnguni (24), the controversial pastor who fed his congregation live snakes has been arrested.
This comes after a manhunt was launched to find Mnguni, who calls himself a prophet.
Ga-Rankuwa police spokesperson Captain Rheineth Motlana confirmed to Rekord that Mnguni was arrested outside his End Times Disciples Ministries church in Soshanguve at 14:00. “Police returned several times to the church to try and find him. When they returned for the third time they found him outside and arrested him.”
The arrest followed after the Tshwane SPCA opened a case of animal cruelty against Mnguni. Mnguni fed his congregation live snakes, telling them they would turn into Chomp chocolates.
SPCA inspector Mishack Matlou criticised the pastor’s actions. “This pastor says he wants to show the power of God by using snakes and we as the SPCA are against this. We have asked pastors to help raise awareness against animal cruelty and pastor Penuel is doing the opposite,” he said.
“He (the pastor) has now been charged with animal cruelty and will appear in court on Monday,” Motlana added.
