Eight pupils from the school had the opportunity to perform with the Johannesburg symphony orchestra. The pupils presented songs and some performed on piano, guitar, saxophone and accordion.

Professor Eric Rycroft conducted the orchestra. “I am proud to be associated with the school. It is a great thing the school is doing with the festival,” Rycroft said.

He said the pupils put in a lot of hard work in preparation of the festival. “You could not have chosen any better way to spend your Sunday afternoon,” Rycroft said to the audience.
