Suspect wanted for shooting ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend
Police are still searching for a man who could assist them in the investigation of a Winterveldt shooting in October, which left two people dead and two wounded, police said.
Police are still searching for a man who might be able to assist with an investigation about a shooting in Winterveld where two people were killed in October, police said.
“A woman and her boyfriend were shot at Slovo park in Winterveldt and two more people were wounded in the same shooting,” police spokesperson Constable Petunia Chabangu said.
Screaming people met police officers who were patrolling the area and told them that a gunman was shooting at everybody in the park.
“When police arrived at the park the shooter had already disappeared. Police have since been searching for him without much success,” Chabangu said.
Police are appealing to anyone with information that can lead to the suspect to contact either Warrant Officer Baloyi on 0722378968 or Constable Hlahla 0737434208.
