Shocking video: schoolgirls fight at local primary school

Another video of violence on school grounds has surfaced.

The video sent to Rekord on Monday allegedly taken by a pupil at Derdepoort Primary School showed pupils fighting.

Two girls appeared to be arguing, before the scene escalated to violence. Classmates appeared to be egging on the confrontation while others recorded it on their cellphones.

The matter was reported to the Gauteng department of education.

Last week saw reports of school bullying surfaced in the north of Pretoria after parents posted what they claimed to be proof of bullying on social media.

In a separate incident, a parent of a Rachel de Beer school pupil posted a picture of a bruise on the side of her son’s face, saying he had been beaten up and bullied by other pupils.

Video footage of another Gauteng boy being assaulted at school has gone viral this past weekend. 

The video of the Laerskool Randfontein boy shows him being lured to a sports field and being assaulted by other pupils.
