Mothers and daughters spent quality time on Saturday, getting to know each other better.
They attended a tea party, hosted by Glen High School and organised by the grade 11 consumer studies pupils and teacher Joyce Phasha.
Phasha said the aim of the event was for mothers and daughters to spend time together.
The daughters were appreciating their mothers for being there for them and the mothers had time to talk to their daughters about social issues and empowering them.
Actress Amo Chidi from Rhythm City and Zine Nkukwana were the motivational speakers of the day.
