Water interruptions around the city

Water interruptions for Watloo and Derdepoort.

There would be water supply interruptions the whole day, Sunday in Watloo Industrial, east of Pretoria.

Tshwane metro announced on Sunday morning that these water interruptions would occur throughout the day, from 08:00 until 17:00. The metro statement said the water and sanitation department had discovered a leak at Haak Street.

“BP petrol station will also be connecting a new 350 mm valve. Residents will be informed when the water is restored,” the statement read.

On Saturday night the metro also warned about water interruption in Derdepoort, north east of Pretoria. The cause of this interruption had been faulty pumps at the reservoir.

Plumbers from bulk water division have since been in Derdepoort to repair pumps and restore water.

Tshwane metro apologised for any inconvenience.
