Police are still on the hunt for the five men who robbed a woman after forcing her to the ground outside Mr Price at the Centurion Lifestyle Centre on Monday afternoon.

Wierdabrug police spokesperson Captain Agnes Huma said a case was opened during the week.

“Police are still looking for the five culprits,” said Huma

Huma said “anyone with information on the whereabouts of these men, is advised to contact police”.

The five men, with one armed, robbed a woman of her jewellery.

OrangeFox security response team’s Ruan Heyns said the lady left her car to go into the mall when a man called her from behind.

“When the woman turned, she was immediately forced to the ground,” said Heyns.

He said the armed robbery happened at 13:10, outside the Lifestyle Centre parking, leaving the woman traumatised.

“One guy was armed with a handgun,” said Heyns.

He said the men fled in a white Mercedes Benz vehicle.

“Wierdabrug police, OrangeFox, and other response teams were on the scene,” he said.

Anyone with any information is advised to contact the police on 08600 10 111 and 012 685 0015.
