Elderly woman hi-jacked in driveway
An elderly ladywas hi-jacked by two robbers in a white SUV bakkie on Thursday afternoon.

An elderly woman was hi-jacked in her driveway in Centurion on Thursday afternoon.
OrangeFox response security spokesperson Vanessa Jacobs said this happened as she was about to turn into her driveway in Elm Street.
The woman and her granddaughter arrived at the house in separate cars.
Jacobs said as the elderly woman was about to enter the yard after her granddaughter, a man forced her out of her car.
“The man fled in the elderly lady’s green Yaris, following a white SUV bakkie that the robber and his accomplice were traveling in.”
The victim told police a cellphone and other valuables were in her car.
Wierdabrug police, OrangeFox and sector one CPF responded to the hi-jacking.
“The elderly woman was so traumatised that OrangeFox arranged for her to consult a counsellor,” said Jacobs.
Wierdabrug police were investigating.
