Elderly woman robbed at home
An elderly woman was robbed after she was followed from the bank to her house.

An elderly woman was robbed at her home in Ga-Rankuwa after three men followed her all the way from the bank on Wednesday.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Matthews Nkoadi said the 58-year-old woman had just withdrawn money from the Ga-Rankuwa city shopping centre when she was accosted by three men.
“The three suspects followed the woman until she got to her house. Upon arrival, she saw them. Two pulled out pistols and demanded money,” he said.
Nkoadi said the men fled with R7 500 in cash.
“No shots were fired and the woman was left unharmed,” he said
Nkoadi said a case of armed robbery had been opened at the Ga-Rankuwa.
“We urge members of the community who might have noticed the incident or anyone with information that will lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact us on our crime stop number, 0860010111 or our sms line 32211,” he said.
