Sunnyside cluster arrests 111
Police arrested 111 people in the Sunnyside cluster at the weekend.
The Sunnyside cluster police arrested 111 people during a high police visibility operation between Friday and Sunday morning.
Spokesperson Captain Colette Weibach said this included 13 people for drunk driving, 14 for drug related offences, 12 for theft and shoplifting and five were arrested for assault.
“Sixty two arrests were made for offences such as pedestrian source of danger, undocumented persons, and drunkenness.”
She said they would appear at either the Pretoria Magistrates Court or the Hatfield Community Court in the coming week.
