Looters caught on camera

#FeesMustFall protesters caught on camera looting liquor store.

Footage of looters ransacking a liquor store on the day of the #FeesMustFall protest has gone viral on social media.

In the video, protesters can be seen throwing bricks at the window of the liquor store in Arcadia before an entire mob besets and raids the store.

Sunnyside police spokesperson Sergeant Asnath Malatsi previously said six students were arrested after the protest at the Union Buildings on Friday 23 October turned violent.

They were however released on Sunday 25 October after nothing could be linked to them.

The new video footage could however be used to arrest some of the guilty parties.

Malatsi said the video will now be shown to the relevant investigating officer.
