Woman seriously injured in N14 crash
A woman was seriously hurt during a crash involving a bus, truck and three vehicles.
A woman was seriously injured and trapped in her car in a crash in Centurion on the N14 on Wednesday morning.
Tshwane emergency services spokesperson Johan Pieterse said mechanical jaws had to be used to free her from the wreckage.
Three vehicles, a bus and a truck, were involved in a collision around 6:00 before the Jean Avenue off-ramp.
“Paramedics found the woman trapped in a vehicle,” he said.
“The woman was seriously injured and was taken to hospital.”
Pieterse said five passengers from the bus suffered minor injuries.
“The five were transported to Kalafong hospital for further treatment,” he said.
Pieterse said the cause of the crash was unknown.
